Hike Details:
Interested in taking the Gorge Trail to Taughannock Falls but need someone to push you in a wheelchair? Come join us for a Walk & Roll outing! We’ll be joined by NY State Parks Environmental Educator Josh Teeter, who will share information about natural history. Walk & Roll is being organized in partnership with the GIAC Seniors (ages 60+) program.
Strong volunteers will be there to push the wheelchairs, so “rollers” can just enjoy the sights and ride. Have a motorized wheelchair? Bring it along and roll with the group!
We’ll meet at the Taughannock Falls Gorge Trail parking area at 11am. We’ll be walking and rolling for about two to two and a half hours.
