We are assigned roadside cleanup section between Pine Tree Road and the town of Varna on Route 366. It is a 2 mile parcel broken into 4 sections of about a half mile each. We break into teams of two. Volunteers are provided safety vests and grabber tools. If you don’t have a comfortable pair of work gloves we have a limited number you can use. We meet at the Cornell lot B off Caldwell Road.

The task is light and offers plenty of time for conversation and made up stories about some of the interesting stuff found and how it got there.

This is a great way to perform public service in our community and is greatly appreciated by the Town of Varna who have been generous in providing us access to their community center for our fall and annual meetings. A win-win for the community and CTC!
