Hike Details:

Interested in exploring the trails, lake views, history and birds at Salt Point, and need someone to push you in a wheelchair?  Come join us for a Walk & Roll outing!  Have a motorized wheelchair?  Bring it along and roll with the group!

We’ll be joined by Donna Scott, birder and Friends of Salt Point board member, who will share her knowledge of the area’s natural and human history.

If you need a wheelchair for enjoying trails, but don’t have one, please register for the event and send an email to Allen Quirk (allenq_ctc@yahoo.com).

Strong volunteers will be there to push the wheelchairs, so “rollers” can just enjoy the sights and ride. Volunteers, please register here!

We’ll meet at the Salt Point parking area at 9:30 am.  We’ll be walking and rolling for about two hours and enjoy a snack/lunch break at the picnic tables.

Walk & Roll is being organized in partnership with the GIAC Seniors (ages 60+) program, Finger Lakes Independence Center, and Kendal.

Have questions?  Email Allen Quirk: allenq_ctc@yahoo.com
