Hike Details:
Start & finish from the FLT crossing of Texas Hollow Road, hiking to Steam Mill Rd and return.
Join us for a scenic 6-mile hike on the FLT (Finger Lakes Trail) through the beautiful Texas Hollow State Forest. This out-and-back adventure will challenge us with some elevation gain (around 1,000 feet), but the stunning views will be well worth the effort!
Getting ready for the hike:
Dress in layers: The temperature can change as we hike, so layers you can easily adjust are key.
Footwear: Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots are a must for navigating the trails.
Hydration: Don’t forget to bring plenty of water to stay refreshed.
Lunch break: Pack a small lunch to enjoy at the turnaround point where we’ll take a break to soak in the scenery.
