Hike Details:

Stevenson and Bock-Harvey Forest Preserves are beautiful protected natural areas in Enfield. Both host sections of the Finger Lakes Trail and have beautiful views across meadows and forested hillsides.  We meet at the Bock-Harvey parking area and carpool to Stevenson to start our hike.  After exploring Stevenson’s trails, we connect via quiet rural road (along the FLT route) to Rieman Woods.  At that point, those choosing the shorter hike will follow the road 0.3 miles to their car(s) at Bock-Harvey.  For the longer route, we hike through Rieman Woods and along all the trails in Bock-Harvey.  We’ll stop at the Locust Lean-to and enjoy our snacks.

Bring footwear traction devices (microspikes, nanospikes, stabilicers, etc), wear warm-layered clothing and sturdy winter boots, and carry a snack and water.

Please email the hike leader with any questions.
