Detailed Hike Description
This week’s Tuesday hike takes us to the south side of the Six Mile Creek Gorge and its network of trails. The trails here give a nice view of the creek below, as well as several small creek crossings and at least one series of small cascades, so they are worth seeing on their own.
In addition to being a lovely City Natural Area, this part of Six Mile Creek has a geologic and human history that our leader, Joe McMahon, is familiar with. Joe will provide some interpretation along the way.
