Brief Hike Details

Note new start time of 10:00 am. We are beginning our fall/winter schedule at an earlier time to make best use of the shorter days.

Join Kyra Stephanoff for this  3 mile loop hike rated easy at Cornell’s Ringwood Nature Preserve east of Ithaca.

Our club has not organized a hike to this location in many years, so it represents relatively new ground for us and will be a fun exploration for many of us.

We will do both legs of the “Y-shaped” trails at the preserve. You can easily opt out of the second leg if desired and hike out to your car.

The trails in this preserve are relatively short with a few moderately steep sections. 

Dress in layers for the weather, wear sturdy waterproof hiking boots and bring water. Bring hiking poles if you have them.

Using gps, set your unit for: 536 Ringwood Road, Dryden, NY. If you will have trouble finding the trailhead, email the hike leader at the address above.
