Hike Details:

We’ll embark on a loop hike in Shindagin Forest, starting on the Finger Lakes Trail (FLT). Our route will take us towards White Church, then turn towards Bald Mountain. We’ll circumnavigate the mountain, heading towards the tall forest on the other side of Braley Hill Road. After following the canyon ridge, we’ll return to the FLT and finish at our starting point.

  • Dress in Layers: Given the potential for cold weather, layering is key. Bring a warm hat, gloves, and a scarf.
  • Footwear: Depending on snow and ice conditions, you may need traction devices like microspikes or crampons.

Please check trail conditions and weather forecasts before heading out. Winter hiking can be unpredictable, so be prepared for changing conditions.
