Hike Details:

The Jim Schug Trail, part of the Dryden Rail Trail, stretches 4.2 miles south from downtown Dryden, through Dryden Lake Park, and ends at East Lake Road.  On this hike we’ll start at Dryden Lake Pavilion picnic area.  From there, we will do an out-and-back hike of 4 miles rated easy. There is no change in elevation.

The trailhead is about a 30 minute drive from Ithaca.

Wear sturdy boots and dress in layers appropriately for the weather.  Bring footwear traction devices (Microspikes, Yaktraks, etc) in case the trail is icy, and/or snowshoes if we actually have snow!
