HIKE DESCRIPTION
The Cornell Botanic Gardens has a large number of Natural Areas near Flat Rock. On this 6 mile hike, we’ll explore 6 of them! We meet at the Flat Rock parking area, across the street from the Cornell Botanic Gardens Arboretum. Come along to see where we go from there!
It’s winter: dress in layers appropriate to the temperatures and wind, wear sturdy, waterproof boots, bring footwear traction devices (Stabilicers, Yaktrak, Nanospikes, Microspikes) or snowshoes (depending on conditions) to the trailhead. Carry water and snack/lunch. Hiking poles are recommended.
