Brief Hike Description
This is a 7.2 mile loop hike in or near rural Onondaga and Cortland Counties.
Carpool Meetup Time: 9:00 am. Trailhead Meetup Time: 10:00 am.
We will carpool or caravan from Eastern Mountain Sports, 722 South Meadow Street, Ithaca. Note there is a one hour drive to the trailhead.
Wear sturdy hiking boots. If conditions allow, bring microspikes or snowshoes. Hike leader will advise the night prior to the hike through email. Bring water and lunch or snack. We will stop briefly for lunch.

Detailed Hike Description
This is a loop hike which starts and ends on Shackham Road in the Town of Fabius. Fellows Hill is part of the Finger Lakes Trail/North Country Trail system. The hike route passes a nice overlook of rural Onondaga County, Spruce Pond and we will ascend Fellows Hill, which features a quiet forest with some older trees. The “up” is steep in parts and can be rigorous. This hike is not for newbies.
