The Cayuga Trails Club Fall General Membership Meeting will be held on October 15th, starting at 5:00 pm. Location is the Varna Community Center.

Whether you are an active hiker or a formerly active hiker, all club members are invited to attend. This is a dish-to-pass event, so bring your favorite recipe and check out what some of our best club chefs choose to share with us.

The club will provide table service, coffee, tea and some wine.

Meeting agenda is as follows:

• 5:00 – 6 p.m. – Social Hour
• 6:00 p.m. – Dinner
• After Dinner – Brief Business meeting to elect a Nominations Committee for 2024 club officers and Member-at-Large
• Bylaw amendment vote

This is mostly a casual social event, but after dinner our business is to elect the Nominations Committee for 2024. This committe is responsible for nominating a slate of candidates for club officers and one Member-at-Large for a two year term. Nominations from the floor may be offered. We will also vote on a routine amendment of the Bylaws changing the the membership term to a 12 month period which begins on the date a member joins, and ends 12 months later.
