Hike Details

This is a 3 mile loop hike rated easy at the Ellis Hollow Nature Preserve east of Ithaca, owned and managed by the Finger Lakes Land Trust.

We will do the loop at the preserve twice to get some mileage in. If you prefer a shorter hike, you can easily opt out of the second loop and hike out to your car.

The trails in this preserve are relatively short, but not easy. There are some steep sections and creek crossings. 

Dress in layers for the weather, wear sturdy waterproof hiking boots and bring water. Bring hiking poles if you have them.
