Event/Trailhead location:

Park on the shoulder at the orange blazed Abbott Loop crossing on Michigan Hollow Road, about 4.0 miles south of Route 96B in Danby (click for map).  NOTE:  This Abbott Loop  trail crossing is 1.6 miles south of the white blazed main FLT crossing trailhead on Michigan Hollow Road which is 2.4 miles south of Route 96B!

Hike Details:

This is a 4.2 mile hike rated strenuous due to steep uphill pitches.
We will hike the Abbott Loop Trail to the Finger lakes Trail junction, then onward past Curtis Road to see David’s Bridge.
Start and finish point is at the orange blazed Abbott Loop crossing on Michigan Hollow Road.
Wear sturdy waterproof hiking boots, water, and lunch and dress appropriately for the weather.
