Special Presentations

Hiking Kilamanjaro and the Dolomites

Members Jackie Gerding and Gary Mallow accomplished personal hiking goals when they reached the summit of Kilamanjaro at 19,341 feet (Jackie) and completed the AV1 route in the Italian Dolomites (Gary). Dramatic photos of the stark and beautiful landscapes will accompany a brief report on the challenges, the physical and mental requirements, and the joy of completing each trek. A brief Q & A session will follow.

CTC members and guests must reserve their seats, as seating is limited.

Tableware and utensils will be provided by the club. Attendees are welcome to bring their own specialty dish to pass and adult beverage.
