Stevenson and Bock-Harvey Forest Preserves are beautiful protected natural areas in Enfield. Both host sections of the Finger Lakes Trail and have dramatic vistas across meadows and forested hillsides.  We meet at the Bock-Harvey parking area and carpool to Stevenson to start our hike.  After exploring Stevenson’s trails, we have a short road walk along Porter Hill Road to reach Rieman Woods, owned by the Finger Lakes Trail Conference.  At that point, those choosing the shorter hike will follow the road 0.3 miles to their car(s) at Bock-Harvey. For those who want more hiking, the longer route will take them through Rieman Woods and along the trails in Bock-Harvey.  We’ll stop at the Locust Lean-to and enjoy our snacks.

Bring waterproof boots or hiking shoes, dress in layers for the weather and carry water and a sandwich or a snack.
