Hike Details:
This hike takes us to Connecticut Hill to experience the Bob Cameron Loop, a 3-mile trail (Short Option) that starts and ends at Tompkins County’s highest point, at just under 2,100 feet. For the Long Option, hikers will continue northeast 1.3 mile on the Finger Lakes Trail to a viewpoint and then return to the parking area (total distance 5.6 miles).
It’s winter: dress in warm layers, wear sturdy waterproof hiking boots, and bring microspikes. If conditions warrant snowshoes, the hike leader will email that information to registrants. Bring water and a snack/lunch. Hiking poles are recommended.
Email the hike leader if you have questions.
