Hike Details:
This is an out-and-back hike of 4.5 miles rated easy. Footwear will depend on trail conditons.
Assuming light or nonexistent snow cover, this outing is planned as a bare boot hike, or it might require microspikes. If we get significant snowfall, this will be a snowshoe/cross country ski outing.
We will traverse the northern end of the Black Diamond Trail, near Trumansburg.
We begin and end at the Kraft Road trailhead of the Black Diamond Trail.
Dress in layers appropriate for the weather, wear sturdy boots, and bring water.
If you are using gps, set your destination for 1300 Kraft Road, Ithaca.
If you will have trouble navigating to the trailhead, email the hike leader.
