Hike Details:

Please come join us for about 1.5 hours in service to the community of Varna and Cornell University.

We cover a 2.1 mile section from Cornell at Pine Tree Road to the far side of the town of Varna. We split it all into 4 subsections of about a half mile each. With hopefully two or more to a team, that is a light one mile walk using mechanical grabbers. Heavy objects or things like masks and medical waste should be left and brought to the leaders attention.

It’s as much a social event as anything with lots of chatter, laughs and the occasional weird find. And we’ve been known to hit Collegetown Bagels on nearby East Hill afterwards. It’s fun. It’s important. And Varna loves us for our service.

Tools, gloves and safety vests provided as needed. Bags once filled (or if they become heavy) may be tied and left on the roadside.
