Event/Trailhead location:
This trailhead is for hikes that begin in the Watkins Glen State Park near where the Watkins Glen State Park Outdoor pool is located. Drive to the south entrance of the park (click for map) and then proceed approximately 500 yards to the “upper parking lot.” The trailhead is on the far side, the north side, of the parking lot.

Hike Details:
Start & finish at the upper parking lot at the SOUTH entrance to Watkins Glen State Park. (note: this is different from past hikes here due to trail work in the park. There will be a short car shuttle up hill to the start of our downhill hike on the FLT back to the town parking area. The route will traverse some short uphills but overall this is a fairly easy downhill hike.
