Oakley Corners is a favorite outdoor haunt for the Owego NY area where it is heavily used four seasons all year. From hiking to snowshoeing to Nordic skiing the locals make it all work. Dense with trees, a beaver dam and two lovely ponds you will also see the mounds of Allegheny Mound Ants.

The trails are well-marked by DEC using colored badges and numbered trails that continually intersect.

While hunting is allowed, it is rare to see any hunters outside of deer gun season due to the lands being so well utilized. However, wearing bright colors such as blaze orange is recommended.
