Hike Details:
This is point-to-point hike rated moderate, about 3.5 miles with some downhill pitches. A car shuttle is involved this time.
Meet at the Watkins Glen State Park parking area, at the intersection of Franklin Street and 10th Street in Watkins Glen.
From there we will shuttle cars to a park service road approximately 3 miles uphill from Watkins Glen.
Driving time is 45 minutes each way from Ithaca.
Dress in layers appropriate for the weather, wear sturdy waterproof hiking boots, bring water and a snack.

If you are closer to Watkins and want to reduce your driving, the meetup is the Watkins Glen State Park parking lot, intersection of 10th and Franklin. If you are using gps, set destination for: 144 10th Street, Watkins Glen. If you plan to meet us there, a brief email to the hike leader would be helpful.
