Cayuta Gulf FLT trailhead on Gulf Road, just off of Schuyler County Road #6 near the Cayuta Lake outlet, south of Cayuta Lake. There is a small parking lot about 200 yards down Gulf Road (click for map).

Hike Description
This is a 6.4 mile loop hike rated strenuous due to about 1,000 feet of elevation change.
We will hike the Van Lone Loop on Connecticut Hill.
Dress in layers that you can easily strip off as you heat up. Wear sturdy waterproof hiking boots and bring water.
The Gulf Road trail-head is about a 30 minute drive from Ithaca. For those unsure of their navigation skills, email the hike leader for directions.
