Brief Hike Details
This is a 3.6 mile loop hike rated strenuous due to steep ups.
We will hike the FLT in Kennedy State Forest, Cortland County.
Dress in layers that you can strip off easily as you heat up. Wear sturdy, waterproof hiking boots, bring water and a snack. Trekking pole recommended.
This is tick season. Gaiters, long pants and long sleeve shirt recommended. Consider a shower after your hike to identify any tics.
Sunblock and some kind of insect repellent recommended.

Join Kyra Stephanoff for this interesting hike in an area our club doesn’t visit much, but should. Cortland County has a lot of great hiking to offer, and we’ll explore just a part of what’s available.
