Guided Hike through the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve

Sunday, September 14, 2014  •  11:45 am

We will hike 3-4 miles through the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve, which is a combination of forest, prairie and wetlands.  We will investigate the area’s wide variety of native wildflowers, and sections of upland prairie, wetlands and ponds. Waterfowl should be abundant this time of year, and there is an area inhabited by beavers, so bring your field glasses. Trails can be wet in areas, especially after rainy periods, so wear appropriate footwear.

Check the website: http://www.senecameadows.com/trails.php for more information on the Preserve and the trail.
