Join us on a Walk, Look and Learn hike on the southern section of the Cayuga Trail. From the Mundy Wildflower Garden Parking lot we will start our hike heading west through the F.R.Newman Arboretum and hike through the Floriculture War Memorial Trail, the Treman Woodland Walk and the Allen Trail to the Stevenson Suspension Bridge over Fall Creek. We will retrace our steps back to the parking lot and then head east through the Mundy Wildflower Gardens and up the forested hillside to cross Judd Falls Road. We will then take the North Walk, pass by the Herb Gardens, the Lewis Building and the Cornell Botanic Gardens Nevin Welcome Center. After crossing Forest Home Drive we will take the trail alongside Beebe Lake, pass the Tobaggan Lodge and down to the Triphammer Footbridge with nice views of Fall Creek and the Beebe Lake dams. We will retrace our steps but take the loop trail around Comstock Knoll before heading back to the Mundy Parking Lot.

Hiking sticks are recommended due to leaf cover hiding wet areas on the trail.

Please join me for some hot soup or other delectables at Panera for lunch and to celebrate the Thursday Morning hikes this year.
