This beautiful scenic trail begins (or ends) north of the village of Dryden and follows a railroad bed south through the village of Dryden into Freeville. There are interpretive signs every 1/2 mile or so marking natural and historical features. Dryden Lake is in the midpoint of the trail. The trail also passes through the Cornell Botanic Gardens Pervis Road Wetlands Natural Area, which contains active beaver dams and various wetlands. If we are lucky we will see eagles and many other birds and hear Spring Peepers seranading our hike.

Bring water and a snack, wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring a hat for the sunny spots and be prepared for bugs.
